1. What services do you offer?-The initial session includes a complete mental health history, reviewing your concerns, goal setting, formulation of a diagnosis, and plan (60 minutes). Education is provided about medication benefits, side effects, and expected outcomes.
Follow up visits are monthly or more frequently tailored to your needs. We will process through your progress in treatment, benefits, concerns, and any medication adjustments that may be needed. As you progress in your mental health journey less frequent appointments may be needed. These sessions are typically (20-30 minutes).
2. How do I schedule an appointment?- You can schedule an appointment online through our website or the Headway platform.
3. What should I expect during my first session?- Your first session will involve discussing your concerns, history, and goals for treatment. Itβs an opportunity to get to know your needs create a treatment plan based on your INDIVIDUAL needs.
4. Do you accept insurance?-Yes, I accept Cigna, Aetna, Oxford (Optum), Carelon Behavioral Health, Oscar (Optum), United Healthcare (Optum),Highmark Blue Shield of Northeastern NY, Highmark BlueCross Blue Shield of Western NY, and private pay. For patients using insurance, billing is handled through Headway. For patients utilizing private pay, payment is due in full at the time of service delivery. Major credit cards are accepted.
Initial Evaluation and Diagnosis (60 min +): $300
Follow up consultation (60 min +): $300
Medication Follow-Up (20-30 min): $150
5.Payments and Cancellations: -Payments will be charged to the payment method of choice on file with the practice. Please provide 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling. If an appointment is missed (15 minutes late or more) or is cancelled without 24 hours advanced notice you will be charged a $100.00 fee.
6. Where do we meet?- Telehealth visits in the comfort of your home.
7. Is my session confidential? Yes, all sessions are confidential. We adhere to strict privacy laws, HIPAA regulations, with exceptions related to immediate safety concerns. This includes collaboration with medical, family, or other mental health providers. A release of information will be obtained with your signature before sharing information (unless it is an emergency).
8.Accommodations, disability, and legal- This practice does not offer evaluations specifically for academic accommodations, custody cases, forensics, or disability cases.
